I have been learning about the power of the Internet and what it could do for business and ministry.  Broadcast TV and Radio is a very costly way to convey a message, even though it is the most effective way to do so.  The problem is that they are also the most costly to use.  Most small business and churches can’t afford or have the knowledge to use those mediums.  As a marketing guy, I’ve used all aspects of TV, Radio and other types of media to market and promote.  Mainly, the big guys are the ones that can afford to use them.  Even using Cable to advertising has and had a high cost for commercial production, but ad rates were affordable.

The invention of Internet has now made it an even playing field to get your message out.   From having your own TV or Radio show to owning your own station.  The Internet has made it possible to do so!  The cost of airtime is pennies on th dollar compared to both Cable and Broadcast stations.  With some simple equipment you can be on the air today.

For the last 12 years I’ve been working on learning how to be like the big boys and own my own TV and Radio station, and it has happened.  It didn’t cost me millions of dollars like broadcast stations and I have the possibility of reaching millions of people.  Internet Broadcasting has made it possible to do my passion and help others to do the same.

So now that I’ve learned how to and have my own, I want to teach and help others to fulfill their dreams of being a broadcaster.  From airing their Sunday morning worship to teaching people how to cook.  Internet Broadcasting gives the passionate a means and medium to do so.  I started with a Internet radio station first at the time because the cost of bandwidth was to costly.  But like everything else the price drops and that’s what happened in this case and using free services like YouTube and UStream made it possible to reach thousands at a click of a mouse.
